I saw a lot of him in Norfolk, as I live in Richmond. I imagine he was a fan favorite back home and with the Silvertips too, because they loved him in Norfolk. Hard on every shift, but still has the foot speed and smarts to contribute. Wish we had someone like him on the Caps to replace Erskine in a year or so.

Consistent, mobile, and physical. Those three things aren't often found together in a young D-man. We're lucky to have him.

I remember watching this kid at the LA Kings training camp in 09-10 and was amazed how hard he worked on every shift. I was surprised he wasn't offered a contract back then (when the Kings didn't have any defensive players). Wish him luck in TB.
